Academic Advisor
- Seoul Science High School utilizes an "Academic Advisor" program to help the students learn the academic, personal, and social skills needed to succeed. Teachers meet students in small groups to help them develop a sense of belonging, build strong relations, and feel a connection to the school as they learn life-long problem-solving skills.
- Academic Advisors are paired with 5 to 6 students, in order to provide guidance and assistance.
- The main role of Academic Advisors is to help students successfully interact with the school curriculum and campus life. This includes not only providing students with information related to their academic programs such as major requirements and course selection, but also helping them explore their academic career and life goals as well as developing problem-solving and decision-making skills.
